Case 4: Clinical

Patient was a 77 year old woman with a persistent white lesion in mandibular left molar-premolar region of four years duration, during which lesion has increased in extent. No alcohol or tobacco use.
Clinical findings: Slightly raised rough, firm white lesion on lingual gingiva and alveolar mucosa of left molar-premolar regions.
Differential diagnosis: Foreign body reaction, leukoplakia, verrucous carcinoma
Biopsy: Incisional biopsy
