Figure 4-11 : Poison ivy dermatitis. Acute inflammation over wide areas. The asymmetrical distribution of intense erythema and vesicles suggests the diagnosis of an external insult. Linear lesions are highly characteristic. Inflammation of this intensity usually requires prednisone.
