This patient with diagnosed gonococcal urethritis presented with unilateral gonococcal conjunctivitis. If untreated N. gonorrhoeae bacteria may spread to the bloodstream, and thereby, throughout the body. The most common symptoms are then rash and joint pains, but other generalized symptoms may result as well such as conjunctivitis.
